Who will play against who in EURO 2012?

Among all sports the most popular one is especially football. Young boys always play football, famous players become their heroes. All football events are also like holidays, particularly World Cup and of course Euro. Next year game will take place in Poland and Ukraine. In Euro 2012 in June we’ll see 16 european teams. Divided into 4 groups each of them will play against another. Yesterday, after the draw we know all the groups. Co-hosts Poland will first play with Czech Republic, Greece and Russia. One can say that fortune smiled on Poland. Ukraine, the second co-hosts aren’t as lucky. In group D they will square up to France, England and Sweden. The strongest one is probably group B, in which are teams from Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal and Germany. Although teams may be dissatisfied with it, on the other hand it promises to be also fabulous, thrilling and exciting matches! In group C there are Republic of Ireland, Croatia, Italy and Spain – the latest world champion. The tournament will start on June 8 in Warsaw. Team of Poland will play against Greece.

The best city in the world

Although there is a lot of interesting places in the world, some of them are especially good to live in. According to Mercer’s 2011 Quality of Livng index the best city is Vienna (for the third time). The capital of Austria has got a big potential. It is an interesting, historic city with famous Schönbrunn and other fabulous turist atractions. On the other hand it’s also a modern city, where people have a lot of opportunities and chance to find satisfying job. Second place on the list went to Zurich. What’s more interesting, according to different research, in Switzerland live also the happiest people. Maybe they are so happy, because so many of them live in Zurich? On the top ten cities in the world are also Auckland, Munich, Dusseldorf, Vancouver, Frankfurt, Geneva, Bern and Copenhagen – three German and three Swiss cities. On the list there are only to cities, which are situated outside the Europe – Auckland in New Zealand and Vancouver in Canada. What’s more interesting on the top ten there are neither any American city nor Paris.

Democratic Republic of Congo – new tourist destination

Torism is becoming more and more popular. Although people still choose place at the seaside and sandy beaches, some of them start to look for something else – adventure, new places, interesting landscapes. Wildlife, the lay of the land may appeal to many real tourists. That’s why they rather look for new destination than watch historic monuments. Currently especially popular is Democratic Republic of Congo. It’s famous of its wildlife, hot climate and on the other hand is also poor and a little dangerous. Many people in DRC has to survive for 2$ a day and country is situated nex to Rwanda and Burundi and is well-known for its military actions. But it’s rather impossible to discourage real tourists. For them it will only be interestig adventure! Nowadays Democratic Republic of Congo has got new attraction. In the vicinity of Virunga National Park there are 8 volcanos and two of them are active! So turists decide to visit DRC only to se volcanos and interesting national parks. In DRC threre are 8 national park and 5 are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

When Kubica is going to start again?

Among sports the most popular is of course football, but more spectacular one is Formula 1. Races take place in many countries all around the world. During whole season drivers colect points for every race and the best gets a title of world champion. The most famous name associated with Formula 1 is Michael Schumacher who won many times. This real German champion said also that in his opinion Polish driver – Robert Kubica probably will be his successor. Unusually talented, brave, ambitious driver from Poland first started for BMW Sauber Team. Currently he works for Lotus Renault. Unfortunately awful accident he had in February made it impossible for him to start this year. Probably Kubica also won’t start of the 2012 season. Driver said, that he need more time for rehabilitation and fully recovering. As a result of an accident in Andorra driver has three operations. At present he still doesn’t feel fit enough to start. Athough Lotus Renault team isn’t satisfied from Kubica’s choice, on the other hand is also proud that driver made such a reasonable and mature decision.

Brad Pitt goes into retirement?

The most handsome, talented and famous Hollywood actor, Brad Pitt plans to end his career. 47-years old Pitt said in interview, that he is going to act till his 50th birthday, which means that Brad’s acting career will last just 3 year. According to Pitt, who usually plays leading role, it’s high time to went retirement. But, on the other hand he doesn’t want to finish his marvelous adventure with cinema. It’s possible, that he’ll become producer or even register.
In interviews Brad also enigmatically said, that mayba he and Angelina Jolie decide to adopt another child. Currently the most famous couple of the world, called also Brangelina, has already had 6 children. The eldest, Maddox is 10 years old, the youngest (3 years old) are Brad and Angelina’s twins: Knox and Vivienne.
Brad also highlight that at present he chooses his films more csarefully, becaause of his children. He rather takes part in something mature, which in the future may appeal to his children.
No matter what, Brad will be always value for his parts in movies like Seven, Joe Black, Interview with a vampire.

George Michael is seriously ill

Popstar, legendar author of songs like Freedom, Careless whisper, Fastlove, member of group Wham, which was very popular in the 80’s, George Michael is in hospital in Vienna.
Singer suffer from pneumonia. It’s not the end of bad news. Michael has also so called Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, which means that oxygene doesn’t get into singer’s blood. Currently singer’s codition is serious but stable. Michael’s family and his live partner watch over him all the time.
Singer is 48 years old, presumably has problems with immune system, some people even suspect that he is also AIDS victim. Probably George Michael will stay in hospital till Christmas. All he needs now is silence, peace and rest.
Unfortunately, because of his health broke dawn, George Michael cancelled the rest of his concerts. This year singer went on a tour called Simfonica Tour and presented all his best songs arranged for orchestra. The final performances were planned to be held in Great Britain. All tickets were sold out long before Simfonica tour started.

How to protect oneself from cold and flu?

Autumn and winter months are usually cold and windy. No wonder that people often get sick. Cold or flu may be uncomfortable. Sick person doesn’t feel well, then on top of that he can’t work and has to spend a lot of money for medicines.
Noone unefortunately can change weather. Problem would be even moving to other country, but everyone may protect oneself from cold, flu and other illnesses.
According to experts of environmental microbiology all viruses may survive even to three days, so on the surface of doorknob, pen or phone is always plenty of germs. Conclusion? Always wash your hands when you get back home.
Sometimes people ask, is it possible to catch flu twice a year? Usually, after recovering, body has got antidobies to flu, but on the other hand flu viruses often mutate, so you can catch different kind of this unpleasant seasonal illness.
And of course to stay healthy one has to remember about basic principle – taking care of oneself. Sports, healthy lifestyle, avoiding stress, relax and at least 7 hours of sleep will be the best protection against flu and any cold.

Chelsea Clinton will work for NBC!

NBC has got new journalist. To professional reporters has recently joined Chelsea Clinton – daughter of present Secretary os State and a former President of the US.
Marketing and PR experts claim, that it’s only a smart marketing move. Famous last name guarantees that programme will be more popular.
But popular not always means also better. Professional journalist is a person who is born to write, look for interesting news and is good at doing it. Has Chalsea good qualifications to carry out this kind of job? Will she be a good journalist or only a puppet?
Steve Capus, NBC News President defends Chelsea from her opponents. Although Bill Clinton’s daughter hasn’t got sufficient and professional qualifications as a journalist, she is very talented and experienced person. Capus wants to use her knowledge, attaching Clinton to suitable programme in which she could share her experiences with viewers.
Besides, Chelsea isn’t the first one political spawn who became journalist. In television have been employed also Ronald Reagan Jr., Jenna Bush Hagar or Meghan McCain.

Solar energy instead of fuels?

Nowadays petroleum, oils and other fuels are still the main source of energy. But unfortunately all these traditional source will be depeleted one day. On the other hand currently a serious problem are greenhouse effect, pollution and smog, especially in big cities.
That’s why scientists are trying to create machines and vehicles, which use alternative energy source and renowable energy.
Nowadays we have already had electric and hybrid cars and buses. So it’s high time we had also modern planes. First steps were already made.
Bertrand Piccard, man who went around the world in a baloon, is originator of creating Solar Impulse. Modern machine is similar to dimension of jumbo jet but use solar energy instead of fuel and may fly both day and night.
The Solar Impulse probably will fly around the world in 2014. It will be the firts flight without any fuel in aviation history. If plans come true, it will probably contribute to reducing energy consumptions as well as dependency on nuclear energy and oil.

Euro in trouble

Common currency in Europe is still in serious danger. European governments, especially in Germany and France, are doing what they can to save it. Euro collapse may not only destroy Eurozone but also lead to a global recession.
Problems with Euro started after financial crisis in US. It could be seen especially in summer, when Euro rate dramatically went down in comparision with Swiss franc. First on the brinkt of ruin was Greece, next countries, which are currently in serious danger are Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Problem with Euro is still getting worse, and national banks are preparing for quick breakup of the unlucky Eurozone, what only incriminate whole situation. Banks are under pressure. All of them should have a stable position, but it’s unfortunately difficult while government bonds are still losing its value. To hold its good position, banks should raise more capital to support its equity or stop lend money. Unfortunalety it’s like walking in circle and in the consequence may only worse a recession.
